The little Mermaid

Den Lille Havfrue

The Little Mermaid, probably the most popular attraction in Copenhagen. This nice little bronze statue on a rock in the middle of Langelinje, crowded with tourists like a club on a Friday night in Paris.

To get to the little mermaid depending on where you are you can use any of the methods and if you're unlucky multiple, the actual travel is boring with the trains filled if its the rush hour or also riddled with drunk people at late hours (18-19) the actual mermaid is god damn boring and so many other danish people will tell you the same damn thing, it is an overrated tourist location, the only worthwhile possible thing to do there is go back the way you came from and call it a jog or eat in the kiosk next to it. If you're really lucky you'll land on a day where it rains and you have to walk through a horrible cold weather just to stand and take a picture of a chunk of metal on a rock for a couple of likes on Instagram or Facebook for some likes. If you have kids have a joyful ride of constant complaining and whining :)

It is a fun thing to walk by and take a quick picture if you're with a couple of friends, but please do not waste you're time on some clump of bronze, there are so many other things to do in the city, like go to Tivoli or eat some smørrebrød.

All in all, a worthless piece of metal, on a rock, in a park, with a kiosk next to it. There are so many things to do around the city, do not go here unless you want to be pushed around by some Romanian or Asian tourists
